At Kelly Seed Co., we are proud to have served the Central Illinois area for over 115 years. Kelly Seed was founded by W.G. Kelly in 1905. Harold Church, our family’s patriarch, started working for W.G. Kelly in 1936 and soon after bought the business where he and his wife Helen worked for over 70 years.
Today, son Stephen Church, daughter Nancee Vespa, and grandsons Nick Vespa and Matthew Church continue the family tradition. Kelly Seed has evolved and expanded to meet the changing needs of its customers while remaining true to its “old time” flavor. Customers come from miles around, relying on the v experienced staff for our extensive knowledge, friendly service and the individualized attention that is sometimes lost in the hustle and bustle of today.
